A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mark John Lacombe at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church with Rev. Jason Gootee officiating. Interment will follow in St. Francis De Sales Cemetery, Echo, La., under the direction of Kramer of Fifth Ward Home.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 7, 2016, from 4 P.M. to 9 P.M., and will resume on Wednesday, from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held in the Kramer Chapel on Tuesday, at 6:00 P.M.
Mark John Lacombe, 49, Colfax, passed away on September 2, 2016 in his residence.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Morris and Agnes Lacombe and his maternal grandparents, Wilbert and Leona Dubroc.
Mark will be most remembered as a good husband, father, son and friend. Mark loved his career in welding and fabricating. He enjoyed bbqing and was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish in his spare time. Mark was happiest spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, of 11 years, Missie Lacombe; his two sons, Markhayden Lacombe and Dustin Lacombe; one daughter, Chandler Chambers Lacombe; three stepsons, Keith Jennings ,Tyler Jennings and Zachary Williams; one step daughter, Meaghan Climis; parents, John and Debbie Dubroc Lacombe; adopted sister, Jessica Gautreaux and 7 grandchildren .
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Markhayden Lacombe, Lenny Williamson, Jimmy Eubanks, Daegan Eubanks, Scott Bordelon, Rodney Parker, Jeffrey Trapp, and Sonny Lamartiniere . Honorary pallbearers will be Jessica Gautreaux, Mike Henard, Chris McDonald, Mark Barbat and Sean Bernard.
