Michael O. Carter, of Marksville, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at his residence. His body was donated to LSU Hospital in Shreveport.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Goode Carter.
He is survived by one daughter, Anna Cloud of Fifth Ward; one son, Michael M. (Michelle) Carter of Jena; four grandchildren: Douglas Wayne Cloud, Jr. of Hessmer, Victoria Cloud of Effie, Joel Cloud of Fifth Ward and Kara Carter of Pineville; and one great-grandchild, Raiden Cloud of Hessmer.
