Funeral services for Mr. James “Paul” Luneau, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Brother Darryl Hoychick. Burial will be held at the Vick Baptist Cemetery in Vick, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville.
Mr. Luneau, age 63, of Effie, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Grace Home in Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Luneau and Addie Williams, brother, Sammy Luneau. Paul retired from the D.O.T.D. with 34 years of service. He was also an avid hunter, fisherman and loved the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years Elizabeth Luneau of Effie, one son, Christopher Luneau and wife Chrystal of Pineville, one daughter, Rebecca Willis and husband David of Effie, three brothers, Freddie Luneau, Michael Luneau, Charles Wade, and five grandchildren, Ethan Wiley, Payton Willis, Emma Luneau, Preston Willis, and Lily Luneau.
Visitation will be held at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville on Monday, October 6, 2016 from5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services.
