A Memorial Service for Samuel Blake Clark will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie with Fr. Joseph Desimone officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Visitation with the family will be at Melancon Funeral Home on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 12 noon - 1:45 PM.
Mr. Clarke, age 55, of Bunkie, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at his sister's residence in Gold Dust. He retired, having served as manager for numerous retail businesses in the Bunkie area. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mable Deshotel Clark and his brother, Curt Clark.
He is survived by his partner, James Banta of Winnfield; his father, Earl J. Clark, Sr. of Bunkie; two sisters, Stephanie Dixon and husband, Sherman, of Bunkie and Mary Denise Clark of Bunkie and two brothers, Earl J. Clark, Jr. of Bunkie and Robert Clark of Bunkie.
